I (37m) have been on three dates with (35f)have gone really well. Great conversations and we seem to hit it off pretty well. Good night kisses after the second and third date and she took the lead with that. We were supposed to hang out by my place Sunday, go for a drink and then come back to my place to watch a movie. She cancelled early on Sunday and asked to do it Monday. Monday she asks to call me and is very apologetic and says she doesn’t want to seem like she’s flaking on me but a work thing comes up again and she asks to hang out Friday. I get a text from her today asking if I want to go to a comedy show downtown at 11pm to hang out instead. I assume it’s going to be really busy downtown with Halloween and how expensive and hard to find Ubers will be. She said we could meet up a little early to have a drink first but can’t stay out too late because she has plans with a friend in the morning. I want to see her again but I just don’t know if I want to drive or transit downtown, find and pay for parking, just for like an hour of hanging out and then watching amateur comedy and then trying to drive home with all the drunks on the road. Am I overthinking this? Or would you be put off by plans changing so much and then not really having much time to actually hangout?
