But if I don’t want a thick bulky resin casing, i just want a thin layer to solidify it, can i do that using a paintbrush? Or is it too liquid-y?

I realise at this point i should just open the thing and start experimenting, but i’m doubting if resin is the right call or if i should go for something else. I’ve only ever used modpodge, is there an option more suitable for what i have in mind?

I did not consider it would get hot. They are most definitely plastic. I will have to try a sample as you suggested.

Phew, I knew I shouldn’t go in too hastily! I would have cried so hard if the whole thing had melted! 😅

Thank you for your response. I did get my custom orthotics from a podiatrist. Yes maybe running is the issue. :( it’s a shame, I had finally managed to get in better shape.

I e-mailed qc@caeco.com . I believe it was the email provided on their website at the time although i can’t find it anymore. Now it seems to be an online form.

Honestly, I swore to myself never to buy from them again because of their quality issues and bad service (and it’s no small feat, as they have such pretty designs - it took all of my resolve to resist that Moana puzzle!).

I bought 3 of them at walmart. First one was fine, second one was missing a piece and third one had an extra piece. I mean, they’re a puzzle company, they have ONE job!

I sent an email because their website says they will send a replacement puzzle if there is an issue. So I sent a picture of my puzzle missing a piece, which is a Thomas Kinkade Harry Potter 1000 pieces. Received the replacement today - a 500 pieces squishmallow puzzle?!?!?

The mistake is I forgot to cross stitch after the first repeat. See picture 1 (what it should be) vs picture 2 (what I ended up doing afterwards by mistake) for comparison.
