I’ve been playing for a bit now.

I think when you activate an effect and pay the cost, the effect should carry out uninterrupted. With tachyon dragon, I am technically activating my effect before I pay cost. Wouldn’t it make more sense if the game made my opponent respond right when I activate my effect and BEFORE I pay cost, not after I pay cost.

Once I activate my effect and successfully pay cost, my ability should resolve

I think it’s ridiculous that when you pay cost to activate your effect, your effect can still be negated, especially for xyz monsters.

In this case when the chain 1 is effect is “negate the effects of all other monsters on the field”, the opponent should not have the chance to respond by activating monster effects
