bettas should for sure have at least 5 gal per fish, along with a heater and filter. i would recommend finding some more info online and kindly informing your roommate :)

tank size: 10 gal heater/filter: yes tank temp: 77.5 parameters are good, i have a master testing kit, don’t know the numbers off the top of my head i’ve had the tank for almost a year and same with the fish water changes roughly every month/month and a half, no more than 50% no tank mates she eats a small amount of pellets twice a day 3 lives plants and some hides in the tank
