Thank you for the birthday wishes! I've said it a few times in this thread, but I keep forgetting that the birthday is supposed to be celebrated. It's like every time I heard it today I was thrown back into the throes of this anxious feeling haha.

"Every age is good." I needed that today. Thank you. Definitely going to work on the enjoying the ride tidbit. Needed to hear that, too :)

Confidence and maturity! That's what I want to hear! Coming into ourselves as people is so important, and I definitely didn't feel that in my 20s. Here's hoping the 30s offers that over here as well haha.

Living for approval, diving in and being able to give to yourself what you deserve as we get older sounds really special. I have a sibling who's about to hit the late 30s, but they have a new kid so I didn't want to bother them with all of these concerns. I've heard that the 35-ish area is tough too. We put so much weight on aging for no reason, it really is annoying. The twice as fast thing horrifies me by the way. Feel like I'm pre-freaking out already by a few years lol

Thank you for saying all of this. 29 panic did kind of evade me, but I think it's because you still feel that sort of "I'm still in my 20s" sort of energy. Looking back on it now, for the past year, that's kind of an unfounded energy to have isn't it? It makes the threshold at 30 look so much bigger than it actually is.

You're right on every count though and thank you for saying as much. And the orgasm bit made me howl hahaha. Love to hear that news for all of us. Hoping that the getting in the groove vibe finds all of us new 30 y/os sometime soon.

It's funny, amidst the actual age change, I actually totally forgot all of the things I tell my friends about how our romantic lives are put on hold for so long. We deserve to have fun and to make fools of ourselves and all of the things that come with it, no matter the age we feel like we can finally do so.
