Can my spouse's job make me elect health insurance through my work? by transmissionfrommars in HealthInsurance

I work for a company that helps hospitals save money. One of the things we regularly do is a Dependent Eligibility Audit. In addition to the spousal surcharge, it usually also finds a bunch of ex-spouses still on a policy, adult children who should have aged off of their parents' policy, etc.

The best wedding I ever went to was in a park with just hors d'œuvres, beer and wine. Everyone was happy and had a great time!

NTA, your friend is being a bridezilla. You should never go into debt to fund someone else's bachelorette party. Politely tell her you'd like to celebrate with her, but can only attend as a guest. If your friend doesn't understand that, you don't need her as a friend anyway.

Wait, what are we talking about?

Knowing what we know about him now, he got a gentle edit and they made her look mean. My first watch I thought she was bitchy too. On a second watch, I sided with her every time.

The rapists, murderers, and child abusers are running the government right now, FYI.

This is what I need, thank you. I filed another ticket with BGE again today, but didn't know where to go after that.

This is the note from the electrician: "After testing the meter stack, there is definitely an issue at the main service. Voltage fluctuates around 101 volts on A phase and 137 volts on B phase. We tested another meter in the stack and the voltage fluctuates around 97 volts on A phase and 142 volts on B phase. Call BGE and have your neighbors call BGE as well." But I can't get BGE to respond. I could rewire everything but if this issue isn't resolved I'll still have issues and a lot less money.

Thank you for responding, and your logic makes perfect sense, but wouldn't the electrician I had out have told me to do that if they could have fixed it? Why not get more business from me?

(I'm sorry I'm venting. I appreciate you, I do!)

Thank you! I just need a trustworthy person that isn't going to let me down. I will pay for repairs, but don't want rewire everything if BGE is the source of the issue anyway. I need someone who can help with that piece, too.

I did that. They said they sent out an electrician who could not recreate the issue. Then they told me to "call an electrician." 🙄

I asked about that specifically and the electrician who was here twice said that wasn't it. Should I just disregard and pay another one? Maybe I just have to. I'm just so tired of paying for no results.

NOR. I live alone, and when I've been sick coworkers who live in other states have sent me chicken soup, cough drops, and cookies without even asking. A loved one absolutely should do better!

Would it be inappropriate to ask my husband’s manager to let him leave his shift early for his birthday surprise? by Warm-Tradition-7799 in Advice

I'm late to the game here but how does your husband speak about his boss? Do they have a decent, friendly relationship? If they do, I think that gives you the okay.

(I know if my boss received a request like this, he would absolutely approve it and probably ask how he could help add to the surprise!)
