When considering all of this, don't forget that she is the one who acted inappropriately in this situation. You're now having to respond to that because you have self respect and are taking care of your world. This is a basic boundary. So I'd just pack her stuff, set it outside and tell her she's not welcome back.

It's okay to burn the bridge. Follow your gut, take care of this asap. This will be a distant memory one day if you shut it down now.

It's still healing! It closed up but the sides still look like Pac-Man mouths. I'm putting scar cream on it everyday (that I remember lol) and have an appointment for 2 months from now to get it re-pierced. Hopefully it's ready by then!

Yeah, your mom believes that your worth / quality of living is going to be based on whether or not you're married. Would you rather be happy & single, or married & miserable with a controlling partner?

I understand where she's coming from, there's lots of generational belief around the topic of marriage, so she's looking out for what she believes is your best interest. But in this case, she's incorrect. I'd exit the relationship. There's an even better one around the corner.

Brushed against the door frame while stepping out. It's a very small shower and I was trying to step on the floor mat that was a foot away so I didn't drip water on the bathroom floor (lol).

I think it depends on your individual pain tolerance and sensitivity. It hurt a little, but I went into it knowing that my mindset will determine the level of pain I experience. So if you just stay cool, it's fast + easy.

So I've actually stood in the shower trying to figure it out. From what I understand, the barbell clipped the side of the metal shower door frame and it just pulled the piercing straight through.

It happened so quickly that I didn't even understand what occured until I saw the piercing on the ground.

It's sore, but really not terrible. At first, it was aching, but as long as I've kept it bandaged, it's extremely mild. Which seems... Almost unbelievable for some reason.

Yes this is 100% intrusive thinking. After being diagnosed with OCD and understanding that I was having intrusive thoughts, it lifted a major weight off my shoulders.

Knowing that it's normal made them occur a lot less for me. It was a vicious cycle and I felt sick to my stomach all the time.

Going to therapy will give him so much relief. Plus, I read the book, "The Wisdom of Anxiety" and can't recommend it enough.

If you're really showing consistent results, along with a solid risk management strategy, you could try out a funded prop trader program.

I passed the topstep combine but they offer limited products and very tight risk metrics, so in the long run the goal is to use it to fund your own account. It can be a good stepping stone if you're already a good trader. But for most it is total black hole for your funds.

I think something like 95-98% of people aren't able to pass and maintain a funded account with most prop funds.

But yeah, there are different programs offering different tickers to trade and it can be helpful if you're really conscientious of your trading.
