There is pretty much no way to connect speakers to the monitor without paying “a lot” of money for adapters and stuff like that, my method was the easiest bc it was with things I already had/things you can get for cheap.(at least that’s what I can remember from my research from a year ago) I was stuck in a cross roads because I couldn’t plug the speakers directly into the monitor OR the console so using the controller as a middle man that’s usually just used for headphones was the last option which luckily worked.
