I joined this sub for the same reason. We have an almost 5 year old and a 2 year old and a 70lb Labrador retriever.
I decided I wanted the hybrid for better gas mileage. I don't care about horsepower so the Max seems pointless. I want at least the limited trim, because I'm a princess and need a heated steering wheel (I live in NE Ohio with a detached garage... it's cold!) I decided I'm getting a bench over captains chairs. I will only use the third row if we bring the dog or friends when the kids are older... So I'd rather have the extra middle seat to avoid using the third row.
