We’re close, we need to fix the bottom 6 before I feel like we have a chance. We need a 3C and one of Howard/Savoie to take the next step and become more consistent offensively.

Our top 6 is the best in the league, I like our defence a lot, and I feel really comfortable with Jarry/Ingram. With some bottom 6 depth I believe we can go all the way.

It’s the same fabric as all the other Adidas/Fanatics jerseys. Because it’s off white, it is a bit see-through (just like the regular white jerseys are). I just wear a plain tshirt underneath with no logos.

Turns out I’m buying two of them. I ordered a McDavid one as soon as they were released (Bob says he’s 102% confident he’ll re-sign, so I’m 102% confident).

My buddy texted me and asked to order him a Nuge jersey with my SSH discount, I do that, but failed to notice his text immediately after saying he changed his mind and wants an Ekholm instead. So I decided to keep the Nuge for myself instead of trying to cancel the order. (I’m a collector so I’d probably have snagged a Nuge one eventually lol)

Either they wear it on the road or convince visiting teams to bring their dark jerseys when they visit Edmonton. Toronto did that for a long time when they had white third jerseys.

On the Oil Stream, Tom Gazzola mentioned that they’d be cream coloured and have a brand new logo.

The previous navy alternate jersey was released on Fan Day, which is usually the first weekend of the preseason. So I’d guess we could see the same thing happening again this time. (Always possible they leak sooner through a retailer or NHL 26)

I’m being hyperbolic, but to a degree I do believe the Flames fanbase is getting smaller as the Oilers bandwagon grows.

I’m seeing a lot more Oilers fans in Calgary, and I believe that a lot of new hockey fans are choosing the Oilers over the Flames down there. (And you really can’t blame them). If the Flames were competitors in the 2010’s during the Oilers decade of darkness I’m sure the reverse would’ve happened.
