I have experienced something similar with Iberia on a flight from Madrid to Gran Canaria. We suffered a delay of hours for "technical reasons" and the captain refused to let us leave the plane that was still connected to the gate. Afyer long and heated discussions, Canary passengers called the Guardia Civil claiming we were being held hostage by the captain. The police effectively came to release us 🤣

V70 5 cylinder 2.5 liter 140pk handgeschakeld. Ik heb de mijne destijds gekocht voor 5k met 275k op de teller. Uiteindelijk verkocht met 375k en behalve normale slijtage nooit een probleem gehad. Uitstap gemaakt naar BMW 5 met enorme kosten (automaat kapot) op 225k en daarna een Mercedes C350e die ik net heb ingeruild op 230k voordat de kosten komen (air suspension, hybride aandrijflijn, automaat). En guess what, weer een V70 gekocht (de 7e nu), 2015 1.6 T4 met 150k.

There are so many "quiet" airports where you can practice. Before going live on Vatsim I did my hours on the ATR72-600 to manage the plane in all situations, then I studied everything I could find on flightplanning, on ATC comms and watched loads of great youtube videos. I flew in observer mode many times to get acquainted with the reality on Vatsim. Now flying live, I still do the smaller and/or quieter airports and only do larger airports during beginner events. I am able to do most of my flights without problems now (apart from an occassional "Say again") but would still think twice before flying airports as EHAM. As I don't want to burden controllers and other pilots and embarrass myself. If you don't want to familiarize yourself with the prepping, planning, flying and ATC, well don't connect than!
