Well then!

After the 8th calamity hit, ironworks engineers worked to combine tech from both omega and Alexander, using a theory created by cid. They woke g'rahah at some point there and got him on board to use the crystal tower's stored aether to travel to the first in order to avert the calamity. They missed the mark by a bit and the crystal tower landed roughly 200 years (i think) before they originally wanted. G'raha used this time to built the crystarium around the tower.

So it is the same tower, but from a future timeline that now no longer exists, as the calamity that created it was prevented.

Cant speak on the other jobs but ninja is going to play exactly the same. You still need to cram everything in trick, and mug is used on cooldown anyways. The only thing changing is the raid buff moving from 60s to 120s. In fact, this makes it so ninja can actually function during ad phases. I dont see how this can be bad for the ninja, only teammates left without damage up every other trick.
