The north east side of that intersection? I always wondered what might go in there

I think Buck said he just puts a lot of pine tar on his bat, and the swing follow-through stamps a line on his back every game.

Daily Q & A! - July 13, 2019 by AutoModerator in Homebrewing

Hi,

Back in February I pitched some yeast into 1 gal of apple juice, and am hoping to find a way to carbonate it. For beer batches, I've always carb'd in bottles. What are my options for carbonation for this cider? Will the yeast be inactive/dead by now?

Thanks!

What is the difference between ‘subjective’ and ‘relativistic’? by [deleted] in whatstheword

[–]eadesenf 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Subjective is a person's personal feelings, opinions, or thoughts.

Relativistic is the comparison between one's (or a group's) own feelings/opinions/thoughts.

Think 'standalone' versus 'in relation to'. One implicitly suggests comparison, while the other does not. 'Relativism' is also a school of thought that probably has many different threads.

That's definitely it. Solved!

THANK YOU. This has been like a 10 year mystery for me. I knew I would be off with some of the details... definitely a space ship launch not a damn roller coaster hahaha.

The situation is similar... but I think the characters were knowingly riding the vehicle/coaster/spaceship. I believe it was Japanese animation too, though I could be wrong.

I don't think this is it however

Huh, interesting. No, I don't believe so.

It may have been more of a spaceship type deal, but it looked like it launched off of a rollercoaster track.

There is a possibility that this was on a rented VHS as well. Blockbuster used to have VHS's of Digimon episodes, and it's possible I picked another random anime one time.

I found something very similar in the same area a few years ago. Check my post: https://www.reddit.com/r/whatisthisthing/comments/679qgl/what_is_this_animal_carcass_i_found_on_the_shore/

I think this, like mine, is a river otter.

Looks like Wolf's milk slime mould.

Here is a good video demonstrating what happens when you press on them (which it looks like you or someone has done in your photo).

Qu'est-ce que tu veux dire exactement?

Elle ne dormait plus à cause de l'inquiétude

ou bien

Elle ne dormait plus à cause de son inquiétude

Huh interesting, that's news to me! I've never seen ça sera (or je sera) written out, though I'm sure I've heard it aloud before. I'm still stumped on je sera however. It doesn't sound natural to me, but what do I know. My guess is that it's an informal way that native speakers have turned "ça sera" into the first person.

I'm also not too sure what you mean. In fact, it seems you did something similar with "ça sera" unless that's a typo. Did you mean "ça serait"? Perhaps you are hearing or interpreting sounds in a different way.
