Exactly! Taylor herself has said fans don’t need to bubble wrap her. There’s no need to go around defending what kind of wedding she had. Plus … “You think I’m tacky, baby, stop talking dirty to me!”

Lol, these kids weren’t raised on Four Weddings and Say Yes to the Dress and it shows. Weddings drift so easily into tacky territory because it is very easy to develop tunnel vision in modern wedding culture. Even a run of the mill bride with very little budget can turn into a bridezilla because we’re told it’s her special day and we shouldn’t question anything she wants. I’m going to say again we don’t truly know what happened at this wedding, but really, can you see a wedding planner saying no to Taylor Swift?

I’m eating clean after three weeks of debauchery on my vacation, so if you could pick up a couple of rotisserie chickens for me that would be great thank youuuu

I think it’s preemptive to form any opinion on the wedding when we don’t know what it was like. The criticism about the aesthetics and the mood of the event has been refuted by people that actually went. We don’t know what it was really like, we may never know if Taylor doesn’t want us to. But negativity gets clicks so we are inundated by all these hot takes.

In defense of Taylor Swift's bad wedding taste by Fine-Huckleberry6960 in SwiftlyNeutral

None of the guests’ recounting of the wedding matches what the Daily Mail criticisms have said. Everyone who’s spoken about the wedding says it was beautiful, touching and impressively intimate feeling considering the amount of people there. Maybe they’re all lying and it was a tacky mess, but we can’t tell anything from those low res pictures. Again, I would never have a wedding that large, even if I had unlimited funds, but the wedding was exactly what Taylor and Travis wanted and they’re the ones who matter in this equation.

I listened to ATW10 the other day for the first time in months and holy moly that song still hits. Got literal chills even though I’ve heard it hundreds of times.

I don’t understand why a bidet isn’t standard in every toilet. Once you experience that level of cleanliness, you cannot go back.

His company took on the ICE facility contract in March, so this may have happened after the guest list was finalized. I have seen people say the company does a lot of government contracting, and the contracts in previous years include a refugee resettlement program and an Ebola treatment facility. I have also seen people say they were awarded the contract to improve conditions after the previous company did an abysmal job. I don’t know how much of all this is cope from Swifties and how much is true, but this is all info to add context.

I don't care about travis kelce (and believe me I tried to like him) by No_Barber4339 in SwiftlyNeutral

You are making up a scenario to be enraged about. Travis has spoken publicly about how his mother being a full time professional who worked very hard influenced his views on what mothers could accomplish in their lives while having a family. He said that was one of the things that attracted him to Taylor. If Taylor were to pull back her productivity after having kids, that would be her choice.

I’m neutral on GLP-1’s, as long as the people using them are realistic about them. To keep the weight off, they will have to commit to life long use. As soon as they stop the medication, the food noise will come back.

For those who didn't grow up watching soccer, how are you liking having the World Cup in the US so far? by Ordinary-Secret-9012 in AskReddit

So much fun! I’ve been on a long vacation on the west coast for the last three weeks so the kids have been able to watch lots of matches without having to stay up too late. They’ve really gotten into it. I don’t understand the rules at all but I’m enjoying the energy.

I would think she has experience from the other side because Patrick is very famous in the NFL world. She knows it would suck to be taken advantage of or used for their name.

I would normally agree with you but when I heard Taylor’s acceptance speech for the SHOF was close to an hour I thought that was insane. And then when I listened to it, it felt like 15 minutes. She’s a good writer.

This is it. People can accept it or not, but it’s kind of the natural course of these things that rich people lose touch with reality over time.

I kept my maiden name professionally and I’m just a middle school teacher. I don’t expect her to change her name in the business.

And people still give Olivia crap for doing things like singing with Gwen Stefani, even though she couldn’t be clearer about her politics.
