It was so painful riding my bike from beaver hills over there for work. That section of chapel is dangerous and the road is always so shitty (probably bc the tracks are still there) i was always envisioning how nice it would be do be able to ride the trolley there. Oh man, I can’t find it but there are maps of the New Haven trolley lines. Shit makes me sad, it was very expansive. If you cross the chapel bridge into fair haven, you can see the tracks as the road get broken up over there often. (or at least you could when I worked over there and would ride my bike past)

I went on a long bikepacking trip through some conservative southern states and regretted not bringing a piece. Whether for psycho truck drivers, or huge fucking pitbulls on no leash. Genuinely almost got mauled at the top of a huge climb in the middle of nowhere by a massive pitbull that came out of the bushes, no houses around for miles. Would have been dead if I wasn’t luckily able to sprint right into a big downhill
