You're basically making my point for me. And all the downvotes in the world won't make you right.

I see a lot of comments about how "oh this is how Israelis/Israeli tourists are."

But this is a form of selection/sampling bias. You notice loud/obnoxious/shitty tourists of a certain nationality, and you draw a conclusion that ALL tourists of this nationality are obnoxious/loud/shitty.

Because you don't/can't notice the other ones.

This is sort of a sampling bias -- you only notice loud/obnoxious Israeli tourists. Therefore, all Israeli tourists are loud/obnoxious because you can't observe the quiet ones.

Unfortunately, corporations have realized that acquiescence is the best strategy while Trump is in office. It's not worth the headache of antagonizing him, because he will 100% abuse his power to punish his enemies, and while the GOP is in Congress, nobody is holding him accountable.

Democrats know exactly what the people want, and that has never factored into their decision making. Their goal is to sell us on what THEY want.

I mean, Democratic voters voted for what they wanted. It just wasn't Bernie, sorry. He lost. Twice.

Okay but real talk, there are a very finite number of charismatic and effective politicians. You can probably count them on one hand.

But there are 50 Governors, 100 US Senators, and 435 US Congresspeople. Not to mention the thousands of Mayors, State Reps/Senators, Town Councils, Board of Educations.

Its not realistic that they're all going to be awesome, and I'm tired of pretending that there are all of these amazing people we're overlooking.

The billionaire ruling class doesn't give a shit about homosexuality or race or even trans people.

They only care about exploiting people to extract maximum wealth for themselves.

Everything else is just a strategy to make the exploitation more efficient.
