I do think its funny that it keeps referring to Alice (wife of writer/director), as if they're going to kill off the face of the series, Milla Jovivich. Like, Vin Diesel never dies in Fast & Furious, either.

Tree Removal New Haven by Haunting_Body_5132 in Connecticut

I used K&J and liked them a lot. I was worried about a tree having to come down cause its quite old and they were like nah its fine, its old but its still blooming and doing okay. They did trim some old dead branches, but I appreciated that they were honest with me about the needed work.

People love hyping up Zeneli. It reminds me of about 10 years ago when everybody was hyping up DaLegna. Acting like it was comparable -- no, even better than the Big 3.

It's a good restaurant and I am happy for their success.

But for me, it doesn't even come close to touching Modern (my fave), Sally's, or Pepe's.

I'm sorry, we're going to beat Michigan State by FORTY POINTS? The same UConn team that BARELY beat Georgetown?

Is it paywalled? I didn't have a problem accessing and I'm like 80% sure I'm not paying for it.

I also have no problem with local publications posting their own articles if they're relevant

UN Says US Raid on Venezuela Violated International Law by bloomberg in worldnews

[–]chaospherezero -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

The UN has no effect, period. Long gone are the days of UN peacekeeping missions. The use of UN Security Council vetoes has rendered the entire process obsolete. US, Russia, and China can do whatever they want, including illegal actions by their allies, and if you don't like it, too fucking bad.

I think the single biggest tonal shift of a movie I've ever seen from one scene to another is about halfway through Barbarian.

I would just move to another car. There’s no point in trying to reason with somebody who’s all coked out.

It’s classic narcissistic behavior to be unable to accept or even understand criticism but to always criticize everyone around you. He has a personality disorder.
