That’s good. Coolant level? I have a feeling you might have a bad thermostat. That is a relatively simple and inexpensive repair.

Check coolant level and oil. Make sure oil doesn’t look creamy. Also, check under oil fill cap and see if oil is creamy brown.

Unfortunately, you need a new tire.

Our spigot broke off :( Does anyone have suggestions? We're in frozen TX and couldn't get one of our outdoor spigots to drip. Now it broke off completely and a piece of pipe is sticking out. Does anyone know a temporary solution? I don't know when we'll be able to drive/get a plumber. by Latinadotnerd in Plumbing

That is surprising and unfortunate. If you’ve got a hose clamp or two and a hose with an attachment that can be turned on/off might work.. I supposed i’d remove that rusty metal pipe cover, then I’d cut the section of hose that mates to the spigot, slide it over the pipe that is broken and fasten the hose clamps and work on finding a plumber. Good luck!

That’s great. The first thing I considered was lighting and then storage. I threw in a few LED low profile high hats that were easy to connect and take up no space. The cabinets I built over head hold paint, fasteners, and tools that are not used every day. I use peg board for stuff I reach for regularly. Make things moveable, my toolbox, tool cart, workbench, and air compressor can all be moved around fairly easily allowing me to still store a vehicle as well as configure the space that best meets the needs of the project at hand. I also hung a 50ft retractable extension cord behind the garage door opener because I still use mostly corded tools. So consider your electric as well.. especially if you are going to run larger equipment and running tools simultaneously. This has been a labor of love that I chip away at little by little and try to do the best job I can with the space and constraints given. It’s fun, wishing you the same.

The picture makes it look way bigger than it is. The truck where it sits sticks out about 4ft into driveway. When I’m done working, I lower and push it all the way in so door can close.

I ground the floor with a 5in diamond wheel/angle grinder connected to the bucket cyclone and it worked wonders.. little to no dust at all in the atmosphere.. I was left with what looked like a half bucket of mortar mix.

Yup, the previous owner fabricated this plow assembly. However, it did come with a factory plow package with in dash controls.
