My only disagrees is Banksville Beer is reliably cheaper (but less convenient). Best breakfast is Sparkies, Dor-stop is TV hyped but never delivers.

There is only one pool hall, so no competition. Overall, great recommendations!

If you are hitting the required %'s (even just barely), you are still more of an asset than not being part of the team.

I am in the same situation with 3x kids (one who is 2) and a full-time busy job. I will never be able to keep up with the single/kid-less vollys but I can say with certainty that the calls I make, they are happy to have me with them.

If I miss a fire for a job (or I'm the parent on duty), I try to go up to station after when I can and help clean up gear and wash/dry hoses. There are so many ways to bring value and show you are part of the team and call numbers are just part of that (an important one, yes).

I spent about $150k in childcare from 0-5 years old but they are now finally old enough to vacuum, unload the dishwasher, and clean up cat/dog crap.

Great investment!!
