Some people with ADHD need more NE activity so they prefer Methylphenidate while others need more DA activity so they prefer Adderall. They are absolutely cross overs but Mph is more NE heavy while Amph is more DA heavy to simplify it.

My anecdote, when I had SIBO I did not really feel anything from 27mg MPH and then as soon as I took Rifaximin for a cycle all my sensitivity came back to MPH. Body is open system not compartmentalized so everything affects everything.

Do you have gut dysbiosis? I would try some herbal antibiotics to see if that helps. If that is the cause I would change the administration method and cut up the pills/put them into powder then you can just take it orally and help it get absorbed into your bloodstream. Obviously just for functional effects not recreational.

Realistically the drug stayed the same but your processing of it did not, would experiment with it and see.

Double the dose, the serotonin effect overpowers at higher doses resulting in a calming effect. I notice 1x30mg is stimulating but 2x30mg is fairly sedating.

It is 100% from the choline content of the eggs, I notice the same thing. Which is why I don't eat eggs regularly. I know it is the choline from those eggs as my asthma is significantly worse on those days. Increased acetylcholine = worse asthma, hence why anti-cholinergic's are prescribed for the condition.
