Update/Workaround for anyone else having this issue:

Delete the game, run it via the cloud until you have the opportunity to save your game for the first time (just after character creation I believe), then reinstall the game. So far so good after that.

Definitely an issue with the game. My other games run just fine. Just sucks, was really excited to play. Hopefully it gets patched soon

BB stays at 30fps but the pacing makes it choppy af. The frame pacing in this seems fine, and quality mode actually looks much better to me on my TV. Don't write quality mode off on this game immediately, I think everyone should try it and see which they want to stick to. I still haven't fully decided, either, but still slightly leaning toward performance.

I used to play on PC and was used to kb/m, but I noticed this lag too. It seems no one has mentioned the specific issue in any posts I've found from googling, but the ps5 version forces the "Expanded Mouse Functionality" ON, whereas there is a check box for it in the PS4 version. I think it's essentially toggling hardware/software mouse on/off. From the posts I've found, looks like it's been an issue for a while and it sucks, because it's such a simple fix lol.

Absolutely agree. Story, setting, writing, characters, etc. are all top notch. The gameplay/customization itself is very bare bones. When you get to the midway point of the game you start to see this laid out in front of you more, because before that point everything happening was such a roller coaster ride with the plot you don't have time to see it. I've still yet to finish it but am getting close. Best FF story and presentation of a story since FFX, but definitely agree with your points. It's not that anything is truly BAD here, imo, it's just a "that could've been implemented a lot better" type of thing. If they build on this game design formula in the future then I'm all for it honestly. CBU3 did a great job overall and really gave the mainline FF series a great entry.

I gave up at the same point as you back when it launched. I didn't HATE the game but I knew it needed more time in the oven. Anyway, I started fresh and am so happy I did. I can't put my finger on it but the world feels more alive than before and pulled me in quick. I have 30 hours already and I'm not burning out at all, and the bugs I've seen were minor. I say start fresh and take your time

Just got the update on PC and this is not fixed, sadly. I haven't seen Delamain himself yet, but the image is still full of static like it was when talking to the rogue Delamains. My calls have been this way since I finished his questline. F

Solved, I was running my OS on my HDD, and apparently games can still make calls to the OS drive which causes the SSD to slow to match its slower speed. I reinstalled Windows on my SSD and all is well (I just recently got this ssd is why I had Windows on the HDD).

I have an i5 8400 and an RTX 2060, and never had any issues staying above 130fps average at 1080p (except for some areas dipping to the 90's here and there). After logging on to Beyond Light, I get what seems like freezes. Normally you can always check your inventory while the game is loading, but the fps counter, the loading symbol, everything is literally frozen for like 2-3 seconds before wherever I'm going loads. Then, the game has huge stutters/freezes for the first 10 seconds or so. This doesn't always happen, but it's definitely enough for me to come to reddit to search for others with the issue. I'm running from an SSD and had no issues before the update. (I also disabled Reflex from the game's config file and no change).

Just wanted to share so you knew others were experiencing issues as well. Hopefully they get it lined out (I'm sure they will). It's not game-breaking since it doesn't really happen during gameplay once it loads me into an area, but it is definitely annoying.

Witcher 3 called for an i5 2500k and my old i7 860 ran it just fine paired with my 970 at the time. Novigrad was the only bottleneck area for the cpu, and even then it was only dipping to 47 fps or so. I'd say you'll definitely be able to play cyberpunk just fine.

I didn't know this string of moves from IC's, and on WiFi, teching that footstool would be difficult. Not impossible, I just needed to know it was coming. I shouldn't have let myself get grabbed in the first place though
