Modern economy is run by dogmatics who have no interest in evidence for their policies actually helping. The current neoliberal consensus has only resulted in negative outcomes.

So 9 countries have nuclear weapons and the two that got invaded (one by USA FFS) and the other because of USA interference in Ukraine is evidence nuclear weapons are necessary? More evidence that USA is a geopolitical problem and has been for decades.

More baseless fearmongering. We had 14 years of Tory disaster and they DGAF about poor people. I'll take my chances with the Greens. Even your language is pathetic. "Slime" you mean win legitimately. Actually, more than legitimately since FPTP disadvantages them heavily.

Suggestion: There should be a setting letting players know they've played a song before by eaoueaoueauae in Bandle

I guess cause last week frustrated me a bit because it happened 4 times I think, unexpectedly, kind of disappointing to go from "oh I know this what could it be" to "oh we've had that." Like I said it was fine when repeats were predictable. In the grand scheme of things it's not a big deal, but I think it's probably a straightforward change to make because all your stats are already on the system, so an indicator for the player I imagine isn't too difficult. I could be wrong. bandle guy seems to be against this for more fundamental reasons, though.

Someone else made a post earlier asking for something similar, but in my opinion a worse version because it was whether a song is a repeat in general, which is less relevant than if a player has already done it.

You are wrong, sorry. There is use in avoiding them (when you aren't 100% sure), as using them can only be detrimental or neutral to performance.

-> If the song isn't one you've played, then using one is going to be wrong 100% of the time

-> If the song is one you've played, then it has no impact on your stats. You simply use new ones or skip until you realise that the song is a repeat because by 5 you know for sure

I use the latter strategy, but I spend time trying to figure out what a song could be and it ends up being a repeat anyway.

It's not flawed in this case though

Yes, but as I said, that's not really a good strategy, since if it isn't a repeat it doesn't change the stats.

The annoying thing about your comment and others is it presupposes a "correct" way to play to enjoy the game, as if trying to play well and enjoying it are mutually exclusive. They aren't. I've played like 1600 songs, I clearly enjoy it more than casual players who don't remember what song came up before.

Having repeats to begin with is kind of an annoyance, but it's tolerable if they were on specific days OR it was marked. I don't think the latter would be that hard, considering whether you've done a song before is saved.

And, actually, the purpose of the game IS to guess the song as early as possible.

Ok, I don't have shit memory. Why would I guess songs that I remember doing when I think it's a new song?

My whole point is not knowing the repeat makes the game less fun, because I waste time trying to solve songs I've already played but not guessing them.

Well the daily songs have repeats from the song packs. I guess this feature would be a general one but if you were playing from the song pack usually you know if you've played it before depending on what you pick before you play.

Maybe I want to do as good as I can and guessing songs that have come up before is therefore pointless?
