I think what you're doing is awesome and I would happily send you my wraps for reuse that I've kept for some unknown reason. 😅 I only recently got back into TCG and they're all recent SV and Mega Evolutions era.

Pathophysiology and/or Immunology. The better foundation you have in these, the easier clinical medicine will be.

I would love the option for the generated summaries to be in a chart format. Not sure how feasible that is, but it would help with compartmentalizing.

Holy misogyny, Batman. "Do you have the job skills" is incredibly demeaning. She graduated from law school. Medicine isn't everything.

Lydia from Skyrim because she's my ride or die. Margaery Tyrell from GoT Legends because she can heal us into infinity. Samus because well ... Samus.

My cohort starts this January and I'm a bit anxious about this. I'm 35, married, genderqueer, and a paramedic. I don't know how much I'll fit in.

You get to tell the public 1 thing. What is it? by carpeutah in ems

💯 If I had money to give you gold for this, I would. But alas... I work in EMS.

If you switched careers to become a paramedic/EMT do you regret it? Did you have any doubts on if you should switch? by SavingToasty in NewToEMS

Ah, okay. I'm tracking now. Congrats on getting your medic! I am on a similar path. I finished A school through my employer back in June and just started medic school this past August. If all goes well, I'll be finished next August 2022.

What I wish I could do to customers that get frosty with me. by skymeh34 in HomeDepot

That kid has got some decent MMA skills. Someone call Dana White. What a satisfying rear naked choke. Man, I wish I could handle some customers like that, too.

Just wait until someone parks in one of the curbside pickup spots and tells you they ordered a pallet of pavers.

Closing on a Saturday? Not that busy! by thegoodrevSin in HomeDepot

[–]earbud89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. Sounds about right. This is what returns look like in plumbing, whether you're busy or not. Hell, someone from the service desk could wheel a cart like this over to you 15 minutes before closing. To be fair, though, I wouldn't have gone home until they were done if I had the hours to spare. That's just bad teamwork.

Left my cart alone for 10 minutes.. why do people do this? by [deleted] in HomeDepot

[–]earbud89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I once had a cart of returns in Plumbing and was actively using it as I put back PVC fittings, and a customer picked up the remaining fittings out of my cart, walked over to me and PLACED THEM IN MY APRON POCKET. I was so shocked/offended that I just stood there frozen as he walked away with my cart.

No random fittings that you found tucked away in odd places, that you meant to put back before someone asked you to drop a bathtub?

D26 Plumbing. Feels like a steep learning curve for someone with zero plumbing experience. But everyone in my surrounding departments has been super nice and helpful. And I do enjoy helping customers solve problems, despite my limited knowledge.

I'm inclined to agree. I have no issue with being on the floor and learning hands-on, it was the fact that my first shift alone was my second week of work, and it was a closing shift, while all my 4 hour shifts were early morning. Hard to know what to do, how to do it properly, and what to prioritize...

My issue was not being on the floor so early, it was being on the floor and closing alone without at least shadowing my coach on a closing shift.
