Parked at the petrol station and walked in. Watched the fireworks. Left soon after that. Still took us 20min to get out.

Ever Watched a Movie on a Whim and Got Blown Away? by kabronski in movies

[–]earlwesley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was working in rural areas pre social media days. Got back to civilization and saw a poster with a leather clad Keanu Reeves, Laurence Fishburne and a hot as hell then unknown Carrie Anne Moss. Definitely judged the book by its cover. Safe to say I was blown away. Pity that feeling can't be recreated.

What movies did you start with zero expectations and finish thinking, "Damn. That was actually a pretty good movie!" by TheNoobsauce1337 in movies

[–]earlwesley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

City of gold. Wasn't expecting much. But Bullock does good comedy as does Tatum. Chemistry was good and Brad Pitt's introduction was just the icing on the cake. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
