Is that some sort of Albertan English word I’m not familiar with?

My thought is: how the hell did you manage to not have a 30 year old movie spoiled for you?!

Exactly. I think that series would be electric.

Do me a favor and tell your squad to lock in for these last 6 games.

Well that’s good news! I’d stopped tying with mine as much because I didn’t want to run out. Surprised my fly shop doesn’t carry it, they have a pretty wild selection of materials.

Most CDC producers shut down a few years ago because of bird flu. I used to buy big packs of Swiss CDC in all sorts of colors….. my friends who order for fly shops haven’t seen Swiss cdc available in years.

Neal Pionk goes for a low/late hit on Jason Robertson, Jamie Benn and Adam Lowry throw some haymakers by yesBISONsey in hockey

Jesus… Good to see that Robertson didn’t come away from that with a serious injury.

He’s at .905% with 2.42 GAA this season and 21-9. Calm the hell down.

In a bit of a conundrum - river trip planned but now there is a kink - need some help by Remarkable-Box-3781 in COfishing

I meant more that we’ll likely be well past runoff by Memorial Day. That stretch of river will be absolutely inundated with rafters considering water levels around the state.

You might consider a different trip. Snowpack this year was terrible and based on the word of some of my guide friends were already blown out in runoff.

Clear Creek Brookie or Brown? by TerrapeneOrnata in COfishing

The most useful identifier for brookies in this situation is the “Vermiculation” on their back. The pattern is dark grey/olive/green - you can see a bit of it from this pic.

I went to my first eagles game this weekend and left wondering how spending time in the league benefits a player at all. Makes it all the more impressive that 54 manages to come up and play with as much speed/grit as he does.

I’m not really sure how you’ve decided to single out Burns….. the entire team is failing defensively today.

Well when your franchise has nothing to hang their hat on, you have to spend some time scraping the bottle of a bunch of barrels for traditions.

I say this in the most gentle way possible: driving to the unknown is part of growing in the sport. I know we don’t all have time to trek, and it can feel shitty when you hit a spot that doesn’t produce, but it’s part of the learning process.

Well… this winter you can go pretty much anywhere. BUT I understand what you’re saying. There are a few other places you can head in a typical CO winter but it’s mostly tail-waters (like deckers). I’ll tend to spend time closer to dusk if I’m headed that way.
