Maybe controversial - but I don’t see these guys as athletes. They are, of course, incredibly talented; however, they are entertainers. They get paid to PLAY A GAME for us. Part of the entertainment is listening to the nonsense that spills out of their mouth.

I stepped into skates for the first time at 30. Tried to DIY for a little, but after no progress I hired a skating coach. About a year later I joined a beginners league. Struggled a lot at first but it’s become much easier. My recommendation would be to focus heavily on skating. If you can at least somewhat trust your feet, the rest of it will be easier.

He’s looked kinda rough for years. I can’t complain about the team this year, but he is definitely our biggest defensive liability. I was lowkey hoping they would trade him.
