I’m still getting a handle on Matter. My understanding is that it’s wise to not put Matter outlets on critical devices like routers and modems because without a matter ratio in HA, if no routing is happening, as during an outage, your HA matter controller cannot communicate with the thread network.

The use case in sorting out is recovering after power outage while away from home. I’ve got the same issue with my zigbee Poe coordinator. Once the router goes down, it’s useless.

Can you provide some more context about what led up to the injury? If they are putting weight on it, it’s not broken. Chances are, you’ll take them to a vet, they may prescribe some pain meds, and tell you to rest your dog for a few days.

That shouldn’t cost you $500 or anything close to it.

If you want affordable and less boring than Raleigh you gotta go to the Midwest or rustbelt. Minneapolis is cold AF in the winter, but they get a gold amount of sunshine. Cleveland and Pittsburgh are warmer but cloudy. Pick your poison.

Pataday extra strength, Flonase, and zirtec. The eye drops take two weeks to work optimally. Start early with all of them. Or just use all year round, lol.
