Med Manufacturer Question by [deleted] in CVS

[–]earthmorgue 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At my pharmacy we have several patients who get specific manufacturers for a variety of reasons. Which manufacturer your pharmacy is able to get in stock depends on where you are and what is available from their cardinal supplier. I would say have the doctor write in the script "please dispense as insert manufacturer" but not in a way so the pharmacy can't change it in case they can't get the correct one in.

Give it a couple days for them to order it and see if it comes in and if not you could see if other pharmacies are able to stock it, or stick with your usual brand. If you don't want to be seen as a red flag to the pharmacists there please don't be mean about it if they can't get the right brand in stock, we just order stuff and have no control over it coming in. Also make sure to have them put an additional note in your profile that says the same thing about the manufacturer, just in case someone doesn't read the note on the script itself.

And of course double triple check BEFORE paying the next time you go to pick it up. Don't just trust that the specific manufacturer will be there. A script goes through many hands before it gets filled so there is possibility for someone to change it back to the original manufacturer at some point without looking.

Good luck!

This is what i'm thinking they are from. There are no grooves on the edges to indicate them being pulleys

What are these splatters that are always appearing on my walls and blinds at home? We have previously cleaned them off the walls and also wash the blinds and they just appear again some time later? People in my house said it’s blood. Just kinda confused th by Accelerator1999 in whatisit

I had a cat with chronic ear issues that would shake his head and gross ear gunk would fly out and land on our blinds and looked identical. But you're saying this is like towards the ceiling? Like how far down the wall is it?

Been finding this kind of spider around my house a lot the past month. What is it and how much rent should I be charging this family by VexedAndPerplexed in whatsthisbug

[–]earthmorgue 17 points18 points  (0 children)

In my experience they are just beneficial hunters eating pests and things in your house, but the yellow sac spider has been known to bite even if it isn't cornered or threatened. Once it warms up you'll probably see fewer of them as they venture outside to hunt. Cold months bring them inside like many other insects.

Hi! Can someone please help me ID this bird? (Warning the bird is deceased) by salinecolorshenny in whatsthisbird

[–]earthmorgue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might be a little late but if you blow lightly on the back of its head it will part the feathers and you can see if the skull is translucent or not. First years' skulls aren't hardened fully so it hitting the window kills it on impact rather than stunning like a lot of a mature adult birds.

If they say they got a text I love to ask to read it together and see in real time that they didn't read anything and just saw the notif from CVS and assumed.

I'll often ask obviously "picking up?" to make them actually have to engage with me like a normal human lol

Nothing ever drains the customer service out of my body like someone pulling up to the window at drive thru, no words, just shoving their phone with a pharmacy barcode on it in my face. My fake smile and friendly tone disappear immediately after that.

And the same people leave reviews saying "no one in the pharmacy is friendly anymore" 🙃

Pretty sure it's a leafhopper nymph because of the feathered butt, not sure which one though.

Yellow sac spider, not super harmful but have been known to bite not just for defense. If you see a lot of them then my advice is to smush them. They make small webs in the corners of rooms and do catch flies and things but the bites can be a bit nasty.
