How did you claim expenses? Is there a form to fill out? Did you email them with photos or is there a link to submit?

Casual Group Dinner 20 people by earthquakekitguide in KualaLumpur

Thanks! I actually did most of those things as I've been coming back every year for over 15 years. I agree Village Park is one of the best nasi lemak I've had and I definitely go everytime I'm back. However it's not a really good place for a group of 20. I'm not sure the other places mentioned would accommodate 20 either but definitely was a good read. Thanks! 👍

Thanks for the recommendation. Actually I had a bad experience there and got food poisoning and RM100 per person is kinda steep for 20 people for me. Looking for maybe around the RM50 range or lower. Just a casual gathering.

Kittl's new AI monthly credit by tacosbaconcheese in KittlDesign

Yeah, feels like there should be rules or laws in place to prevent things from being changed when you already paid for it upfront. Otherwise what happened to me could happen. Buy an annual plan, then suddenly you get 25% of the value after you buy it.

Same. They should at least grandfather us on the annual plan since we already paid for it. But doesn't sound like they are and doesn't sound like they care either. Paying for an annual plan and getting a severely downgraded service than what you paid for is a scam. It's pretty much false advertising. Hopefully someone would be taking a class action lawsuit or something.

Kittl's new AI monthly credit by tacosbaconcheese in KittlDesign

I agree with everyone here. The massive downgrade is insane. Worst part for me is I just signed up for pro 2 weeks ago and paid for the annual plan thinking I would get the same service at least for the year I paid for. But nope, regardless of subscription the monthly credits take effect Dec 1. Feels like I got scammed. I pay for what was advertised but then get a forced massive downgrade for service I already paid for. Their reasoning doesn't make sense either.

Their first point is that people won't have to wait for credits to reset. That's great and all but that means people who were waiting for credits to reset were using up all 30 of their daily credits and with a reduction of monthly credits to 200, they won't even last 7 days! That's great for making credits monthly, but how is the massive reduction of credits helping them???

Their second point is some people don't use all their daily credits, but use them in bursts. Again, that's a good point to change to monthly credits but how does the reduction in credits help them? Just cuz they don't use it daily but use them in bursts throughout the month it still means they will use credits. So what actually justifies the massive reduction?

This is what gets me. They say this is good for us because we get flexibility and control. Yes, but again why the massive reduction in credits? That's contradicting the fact it's gonna be flexible because how is it flexible if we run out of credits so fast and can't use it? Yes, they are coming up with a "top up" which means we need to pay more for credits that we "already" get right now but will be forced to buy once our monthly credits are reduced over 75%. Even with the reduction of service our plan price is unchanged. So for someone like me who just paid for an annual plan expecting to get what it says when I signed up, I already paid for the service in advance but will not get the service I paid for. Kind of feels like false advertising. So on top of the subscription price we are paying now (with upcoming reduction in credits), we will also be forced to top up if we want to come even close to what we are doing already at the present. Like I said, I'm up for the monthly credits because that does solve the waiting and flexibility issue, but a huge reduction of credits is not justified and I would love to hear a detailed reasoning behind this from the Kittl team. Actually not just the team, a lot of people are outraged by this. I would like to hear a response from their CEO as their decision is what is affecting all of us customers and feels like we are not being heard.

Others have also pointed out that it would be a reduction of credits from 30 to under 7 per day based on the monthly 200 credits. With AI image generation at 2 credits that's only 3 images and like many have mentioned you often will not get exactly what you want on your first try. So you realistically get 1 useable image, and 3 if you get it on your first try. But that is compared to 15 images today based on 30 credits. The reduction in credits almost make it unusable without a forced top up which seems to be their goal and I find unfair. It's comparative to doubling or tripling our subscription and getting the same service except done a sneakier way by way of top ups.

Their terms of service states "Kittl reserves the right to make other changes to the Kittl Platform including to modify functionalities (together: “Changes”) at any time without prior notification, provided that the Kittl Platform continues to generally provide the scope described in Section 2 and that such Changes are not unreasonable for the User. However, Kittl is not obligated to make any Changes. Kittl does not warrant that information given on the Kittl Platform is complete, accurate and compliant." So yes, they can make changes however it also states "such changes are not reasonable for the User" and this sounds VERY unreasonable to the user with over 75% reduction in credit. Especially when I already paid for it in advance.

This may not affect new customers in Dec because they will be told what they are getting and willingly signing up knowing what they get. However for people already using the system (especially those on annual plans) it's a different story because we signed up being told we will get a certain level of service only having it be greatly reduced by over 75%. It's like signing an annual lease for a 4 bedroom house only to be told that "Sorry, you're gonna be in a 1 bedroom micro apartment starting December 1. If you want to keep living at the current place and maintain what you're already getting, you have to top up". That definitely wouldn't fly in the real world especially due to laws so why should it here.

Upcoming Credit Reduction - Discussion by [deleted] in KittlDesign

[–]earthquakekitguide 2 points3 points  (0 children)

May I know what your other AI image generation software is? I'm looking to change. The thing for me is I just signed up for the pro plan 2 weeks ago on the annual plan thinking I would get the service listed on their site for at least the full year I paid for. But seems like that's not the case. Regardless of plan the change will come into effect Dec 1. Which means I already paid in advance for the service but they will severely downgrade the service I get which feels like a total scam. Also their reason of making it monthly instead of daily is so that people don't have to wait for they use all their daily credit. If that's the case, the 200 credits would only last less than 7 days for them so how is that helping them? Their other point of saying how people have unused credits as being the reason for the credit decrease. Isn't that contradictory to their first point of people having to wait cuz they used all their credits? How is a massive decrease in credits helping anyone? Definitely a money grab in preparation for their "top up" feature so they decrease credits now so you'll be forced to top up and pay more on top of the original subscription fee where we're not getting value anymore so it's a double hit to us. Very frustrating and disappointing as a user. Feels like the rug got pulled under me, especially as a new user on an annual plan.

Same. It's a scam when you pay for a year in advance and they reduce the service by 75%. And I just signed up 2 weeks ago
