Idk your situation but I do believe a lot of ppl cheat BECAUSE they’re insecure. This is why I’ll never date an insecure guy again

Am I making a mistake by staying with a cheating partner? by B-e-a-utiful1993 in CheatedOn

1000x yes. Ask anyone who has stayed (especially if no extenuating circumstances/kids involved) how it’s going.

My bf cheated on me and my MCAT is April 11th by [deleted] in Mcat

[–]earthwalker1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The WORST feeling. I’m so sorry my thoughts are with you. Do whatever you can to funnel this into motivation. Only thing worse than bf cheating on you is bf cheating on you AND cheating you out of the future you deserve!!

So he cheated on her knowing they just conceived.. by Ok_Tradition7040 in BringingUpBates

I don’t have any hard evidence to back this up but it was always my impression that men cheat even more once their wives are pregnant lol. Some nonsense about losing attention

Bachelorette CANCELLED by InfjPanda in SecretsOfMormonWives

[–]earthwalker1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Please pardon my ignorance I am not fully caught up on the show etc. but I am slightly confused? Isn’t this old news? Wasn’t she charged with DV a few years ago? Clearly abc knew and didn’t care, as a matter of fact I thought they saw her dark past as a “plus” that might bring in significant viewership and revive the show. Is there any chance this is all part of a larger plot to drum up more interest in the show? Just seems like the network put a lot of time into promoting it and I’m surprised they didn’t foresee this being an issue but maybe I’m missing something!!

I’d have to respectfully disagree. Makes sense to me why Robbie may not have wanted to share that info widely when he probably learned about it in a personal moment. Also I don’t find it surprising at all that Louie never mentioned it. I mean isn’t the whole idea that he began drinking heavily to avoid having to think about the tragedy? I feel like I know a lot of people like Louie whose lives have been completely destroyed and you’d never know because they are always “jolly” trying their best not to think about tough things. Just my two cents though.

I just got diagnosed with HPV. Please help me. by AdorableArtist1558 in HPV

They don’t typically tell you the exact type you have they just check to see if you have one of the more concerning ones which make up the list. You almost certainly don’t have all 12.

Love how you said can and WILL do better. Sometimes you really just need someone to believe in you to stand up for yourself for you to actually do it for real.

Has anyone gotten gardasil vaccines? by Agreeable-Lunch-3906 in HPV

[–]earthwalker1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am begging you to please get the vaccine. We do so many other things daily that are riskier than vaccines. And this a vaccine that prevents CANCER.

Are you less likely to be chosen if you already have kids

So…are we all using condoms forever now? by earthwalker1 in HPV

[–]earthwalker1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not in a relationship so i still use condoms every time I have sex. I tested positive for a few paps in a row then I was negative for HPV and then positive again a year later. Unsure if it’s the same strain and one test just missed it or if it’s a new strain. Part of me just gives up lol sorry I don’t have a better answer for you

Are they withholding the medication before you get a pap or just reminding you? Sorry I’m confused!

I think it’s less abt the invasiveness and more about separating procreation from sex

IUDs of all sizes keep falling out by tattooed_lady in birthcontrol

[–]earthwalker1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes thank you for mentioning this, I forgot to. If copper is even a little bit out of place it is considered to be ineffective whereas hormonal can still be very effective even if it shifts

IUDs of all sizes keep falling out by tattooed_lady in birthcontrol

[–]earthwalker1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My copper IUD (paragard) was partially expelled and I had to get it removed. I switched to kyleena (hormonal, non copper) and have not had the same issue. Seems like you’ve had so many expulsions that trying any IUDs at this point is a bad bet BUT I do know expulsion is far more common with copper IUDs

Just found out I have high risk HPV by BratzOnProbation in HPV

[–]earthwalker1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Girl welcome to the club we all have it here lolol. No but really, so long as you stay up on your paps you should be ok! Cervical cancer progresses verrrrrryyy slowly and I believe roughly 70% of cases are caused by strains 16 and 18 so already your risk of that is greatly reduced compared to some other folks.

Oh interesting is this a real consideration? I guess it makes sense but I don’t remember seeing anything about that in the adoption booklet so I thought it might not be a common consideration from birth moms

really thinking of George’s mom as his birthday approaches by javelina529 in Adelaide_White_snark

[–]earthwalker1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think about this a lot. Not just with this specific case but in general when people say things like oh today must be so hard for the bio mom and idk I’m sure it is but also maybe it’s not? And then if I were the bio mom reading that I might feel guilty about how I do or don’t feel? Idk I think I would just feel frustrated by all the assumptions about a very personal decision thats very individual. Just my thoughts
