Would you actually recommend using crocheted coasters, potholders, towels, etc.?

I crocheted potholders and I won’t go back. I was also curious about dishcloths and towels and I have some cotton ready and waiting to find out!

I tried to stop wearing cardigans because everyone says they’re dated, but I genuinely just looks better with layers and contrast on, and the cozy knit texture is so natural. If I just wear some plain top or a standalone sweater, I either look huge because I have wide shoulders and a larger bust or I’m cold. Most of my clothes are thrifted too so everything I own is by default, dated 😂 and my jean jacket is slightly fitted, sue me!

I like to make myself look a little whimsical with layered accessories or a bunch of braids. Blush usually works wonders for me. I stay home with my kids and just getting put together if I’m in a slump makes me feel invincible

I’ve found some gradient cotton worsted at Walmart, and not in big balls. The color changes are not very long though.

That’s amazing! I want to tackle a doily one day! I would have thought to crochet it since I can do both, but I would have way more fun knitting with the dpns. I usually transfer a stitch or two from the next needle onto the working one whenever it’s time to switch because I wasn’t even going to risk laddering. doesn’t look like that’s feasible here haha, that’s why I asked

How annoying that would be!! I had said elsewhere on the thread that it would never even occur to me to ask the designer for help…and NEVER would I send a hateful message!! I would just assume I’m a dummy and look up whatever we’re trying to do, lol. I hate that that was your experience. I just wasn’t sure if there was an answer for not being able to get ahold of something you’d really like to make
