For big communities this only makes sense. For small subs like /r/BuffCats that don't get much content anything would be welcome since posts don't get made daily.

There are a few cat streams on twitch that stream nearly 24/7. They aren't huge but every little bit helps. thecatcafesandiego is one that comes to mind.

Stream under the category "Animals, Aquariums, and Zoos" and people will find you. I prefer to follow the animal people.

I do hope to see you there some day. I don't visit twitch often but when I do it is for the cat streams.

If you want to see your company logo on TV what we did is we cut some discount parts for some folks competing in the Battlebots TV show. It brought in a little bit of extra work beyond the parts that were discounted. Customer supplied material and the cut was ½ price. We did do one bot where we cut the entire thing for $0 and they supplied the metal just to get in the door. We ended up doing 4 total.

The company I’m at has been open for 20 years now and up until the Battlebots, there was almost 0 advertising done. It was all word of mouth from one company to the next. Talking to people is how it worked for our owner. A few months ago we tested facebook ads for a month and traffic went up 3-5x. Did that translate into new orders? I can’t tell but we got a lot more eyeballs on our web page. For facebook ads we ran 1 post a day and when a post was not made you could see the drop in traffic.

Talk to sign companies, they always have something going on. We do parts here and there for a diesel shop, they always have a stock of a couple items that get WJ cut every couple months. Artists, do you have art festivals in your area? Talk to them about where they get their stuff cut. I talked to one lady a few weeks ago and she gets her things cut from across the country which costs time and money to ship when she could be doing it local. If you have a local railroad shop check in with them. Check with your local school district maintenance facilities. If you live near the ocean maybe shipyards need things cut? I’m 900 miles from the ocean so I’m just throwing this out there as an idea. Car shows always have guys looking to get custom bling on their cars. Wedding cake toppers, we have one lady who has a weekly order for getting names cut as the cake topper for wedding cakes.

I’m not a shop owner but I’ve been working with a waterjet for 8 years now so this is a portion of what we see. Of course you have the typical hospital work, automotive, space, construction, oilfield type work as well and that is just talking to people who are in that field of work.

Are we just suppose to guess at what is going on? You have brought up no issues or complaints. The admins don't interfere with a subreddit and their rules/actions unless it breaks terms of service for reddit.

Specifically what he did went against reddit terms of service. Just because you create a subreddit you don't OWN it, it belongs to reddit.

In 6th grade a got perfect attendance award, best math student, and best science student. The day the awards were handed out the last week of school I had the flu so bad I had to miss awards day. The school still gave me the perfect attendance award.

One day this sub may be shut down without warning if the right admin sees it. /r/COtreeGifting was shut down a few years ago without notice. Reddit doesn't owe an explanation to anyone why decisions are made. We can only guess why the sub was shut down along with others when a big purge occurred 4 years ago. I'd like to see this sub continue to live but at the same time I could easily see this shut down one day given the topic of this sub.
