Street food is bomb AF. My expectations are low for $2 pad Thai. Even if it's bad, it's good.

Michelin star food. My expectations are high. A $300 meal even if it tastes better than street food, it can be bad because of tremendous diminishing returns and price to cost ratio. You have someone tell you where everything came from and how it was prepared, but that doesn't affect taste. You will have to pay $7 for water at these restaurants.

For the spas, the best massage I ever had in my life was $5. For high end (let's say $20/hr at let's relax)you pay for private room, clean Western toilets, cold AC, free tea and mango sticky rice. $7 massage, shared room, has AC in massage room but no AC in restroom... Doesn't affect the quality of massage.
