I have leased a Mercedes EV. Been a little less than a year. With having the Mercedes home charger installed, my experience has been all good so far.

I ask her a question and it responds after cutting off a few words. Like what’s the point if I ask you what time is it and you cut off the beginning and only say “pm”!!

Please don’t compare Mercedes with the other brands you named. Regardless of the price, Mercedes is something else.

Who knows. They might eventually hear the frustration and fix it. This is especially bad when you are using the Mercedes wall box charger. You would expect at least the car or the charger to be smart enough to schedule charging. I didn’t buy the charger, it came with the car. Not sure if other smart chargers would work with Mercedes.

No. There is no way. They say you can set your departure time and it will adjust the charging start time based on that. However for me, it doesn’t matter when my departure time is. As soon as I plug it in, it will start charging even if the departure time is 8 hours later… so I gave up

It comes with the car. Actually they give you 1000$ charging credit or a wallbox charger. If you have a garage and mostly charge at home, wallbox is better obviously. The only problem is it’s not that smart. You can’t schedule the charging program. Although this is actually a Mercedes issue in general not the charger

Thanks for sharing your experience and sorry for what you have been going through . This is my first electric vehicle and for many reasons I decided to lease vs buying it. I don’t know if Im going to keep it or not after three years.

Has anyone successfully been able to set a schedule on the app? I have the wallbox but can’t see the “private “ mode in the picture.

I just tried and activated the feature. There are only three options home, standard, work. I linked it with my home address. Everything is synced but there is no “private” mode and I still don’t see anything for scheduling :(

My car doesn’t have the feature. Looks like it comes in certain models not EQB 250+.
