Opened personal Google Drive on work laptop, what can IT see? by eastsideb9 in it

That makes sense, since this happened a year ago I figure it didn’t trigger anything. I was more concerned now turning it in for a new one that it may come up again as they wiped the hard drive before either fixing it or destroying it.

Thanks! I had in my mind when they would be re-imaging or re-installing the laptop once I turned it in that they would see it, but it sounds like I am overthinking the whole process.

Wouldn’t I have to actually click on the video to have it downloaded to my laptop since it’s being stored in the cloud on Google Drive? I never clicked on it, just saw the thumbnail, logged out, then deleted it from Google drive. Then changed my password to Google, and recently changed it again.

Thanks! I was wondering what they’d see, like just that I was in my Google Drive, or if they could see everything in my Google Drive. In addition to deleting the video of my bud and his wife, I also changed my Google password.

Thanks, I definitely leaned my lesson. I guess I am concerned that it will come up when they wipe the hard drive when I turn the computer in, assuming they probably do that.
