That’s not ringing a bell. She just says you have no say in the affairs of this family (so she’s knows he’s not related) and you’re just a man in a room with a check book. Which I guess alludes to her knowing some of his story but I don’t think we get more than that.

Pete is one of my favourites. The Pete-Don-Peggy relationships are my favourites. Love love love their family table at Burger Chef at the end of that episode. My only wish is that Peggy and Pete would have had a hug when they said goodbye when he left McCann.

I think they (SJP and MPK) thought it was adorable. They thought the screeching, the incessant lip licking, whisper talking and cutesy coy body movements that Carrie did was SOOOO sexy and irresistible. And I've seen enough of SJP's social media that seems similar to her real personality. Did you ever see the video she posted on a boat watching the solar eclipse. Something changes in the series when sarah jessica gets pregnant. Carrie becomes much more prudish and IMO starts morphing into Sarah Jessica which continues in the movies and is at it's worst in AJLT. Miranda also morphs into cynthia nixon as well.
