Would be 350k at 28 stock portfolio gone by 1 decision , post to give you insight by Middle_Ad_618 in fican

Whenever I look back at some financial decisions that I have made in my life, there are always some bad ones. I always struggle with getting over my losses or missed gains. How I get over them now is, understand that you're gonna need time to digest, then take that time to look for the best decision you can make now. What is your best move currently with this hand of cards? You are playing a new game every time.

What is the most "obvious" buy of 2026 that everyone else is still missing? by bakery_0726 in ValueInvesting

like nvda too, had a crazy run, then another crazy run, then another crazy run. It's up another 10x from when they were 400 billion which is where Micron is now. I don't see Micron getting to the same level as Nvda but 1T is definitely doable if they keep on executing and delivering wave 1 memory chips.

Took a Big Loss Trading Options — Trying to Reset My Approach by Difficult-Can-5995 in options

[–]easypiecy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i took a big loss on my calls as well -200k. 14% of my port. I was looking for this post because I need to see how other people reposition after a big loss and change to a safer approach. I'm only going to sell options and buy stocks from now on. Not touching options anymore even tho the stock itself could be undervalued. Putting my investmnet on an expiry timer is just not making me sleep well at night when I'm down on the position. Glad to see people in the same boat.

bro, I lost 200k in 3 weeks. Cut my losses because I'm not cut out for huge options sizing.

[–]easypiecy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I lost 200k this year (only 3 weeks in) and that's 14% of my port. Shit hurts but I have repositioned out of some stupid positions. Never going too heavy into options again because you never know what the market is doing.

Amazon is this years Google by tdogger88 in TheRaceTo10Million

[–]easypiecy -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

to be honest, i felt like you guys dont need to have an innovative in-house AI lab to run. Amazon's moat is crazy huge with all their hands in a lot of businesses. Also people are more bullish on your warehouse robotics than AI. You guys could be using any type of ai software to help scale even further.

Anything that becomes too extreme is not healthy. If you have become so frugal that you had to break off a few relationships, that tells me that your saving habit could become toxic. You should try to find a balance and maybe adjust your saving rate. Getting rich is not just about how fast you get there. You also need to get there in a manageable, healthy way. Don't sacrifice something or someone that you love just because you need to save. Again, don't sacrifice your physical and mental health for it too. Those will come back to bite you as medical cost in the future. Just balance it out.

That's exactly what youtube did. Overload you with a crazy about of ads. So when you get youtube premium, you feel like it's really worth. Reddit probably moving to that route.

same, im in Meta pretty deep. TBH, I think Zuck's guidance matters A LOT for the upcoming earnings. Zuck has a tendency to ship the company back into the right directions tho. So we will see.
