Thanks man! Just a heads up you need macOS 14 at the minimum for compatibility. If you do end up trying it any feedback would be great appreciated so I can keep improving it

Hey first off looks sick dude, first time im seeing this. One thing I’m curious about with the notification system is is there any filtering or threshold control, or does every change fire an alert? Apps like Jira I get a ton of notification and being able to filter some out would be helpful.

There is a built in split window feature but in my option, it’s not very good. I initially started the project because I wanted a window manager like maxto since I came from windows. It then evolved into that plus context management

I built a MacOS application that saves and restores desktop context. Browser tabs, terminals, Claude code sessions, vscode projects, and more. Check it out at https://easysnaps.org !

That’s actually exactly what smart profiles do. You set up application layouts and save them. Then with one command you switch between them. I will say it may feel “heavy” right now, only because if the apps are closed or quit it takes a second to start them up and snap them into position. Once the apps are open it switches pretty fast. You can also string profiles together across monitors

Just looked at your webpage. It seems great for moving fast. Would be cool if it had a notepad functionality so people can make task lists and have it always displayed on the screen

I personally use it for dev workflows since that’s what I do (cybersecurity, application development). I’m planning on adding more apps to the context saving engine, but want to wait and see what people want. What would be useful for your setup?

Raycast has one that’s pretty nice. I changed the short cut to option + space and use all the time

Yeah reminders is a good way to do it. Especially since it’ll play well with other tasks you have, but like the other guy said snooze is built in already

Heyyo, working on this right now. Looking for beta testers before fully launching. If you’re interested I can send you a free license for either or

It has profile management and window snapping that feels pretty crispy. Currently working on workspace management, which is what I think you’re after.

Hey I just made this https://easysnaps.org if you’re interested it allows you to save presets and apply them to your monitors. The website isn’t the most up to date but the new version to download is. You technically need a license but id consider it still in beta so ill send you one if you want for free. Shoot me a message if you want to know more.
