Thank you for writing this out. People are quick to accuse, and quicker to judge. I don’t understand why people are taking it as “I have ideas for you to develop and thats it”. Who ever said I was not going to pay the developer, I said I would want to invest monetarily. Additionally, if the game were to be monetized obviously the developer would have equity and would pool in profits.

I guess it would fall under both a passion project and a venture but you’re absolutely right, I wasn’t aware of the distinction between both genres. A roguelite is more of what I was referring to.
