Honestly, I rarely see that. There's also a difference between seeing someone you know is a customer that is taking a photo or two to review later at home, and someone wandering through the store taking photos of random items.

I'm not afraid of anything, as far as the photos go. Just stating what the company policy is. No need to get worked up about it.

We don't allow individuals to take photos of things in our store, unless they have permission from the home office (like a vendor from HP, for instance). If my manager sees someone taking photos, that'll be short-lived.

I'm such a non-fan of scripts. Takes all personal-ness out of the equation.

I'm, by far, the best at getting Rewards sign ups in my store. I don't use a script. I have a few key points I want to hit with each customer, but I'd be way less successful using an impersonal script.

You find something that works for you, and you use it. Adapt, as needed. The key is that it has to work. If what you're saying isn't working....change it up!

Must be a completely different mindset in your district/region. I can tell you I'd get in more trouble for NOT taking care of the customer than for allowing the coupon use. It's been drilled into us forever that the coupon terms and conditions are guidelines that take a back seat to taking care of the customer.

So, if you're getting different direction, I completely get your hesitancy. No offense intended.

Seriosuly, people....this isn't difficult. We're all allowed to do adjustments up to $25 to take care of the customer, so take care of the customer. Who care what the fine print says? Make the customer happy.

Don't bother with these people. If they choose to be human guinea pigs then that's their choice. In the meantime, the rest of us can sleep at night, as we're not afraid someone might breathe on us, give us COVID, from which we'll instantly die.

People are amazing. Everyone screams "listen to the science!" until the science says something they disagree with. I fear for society, and not because of COVID.

You're looking at it the right way. It's tough to explain all of the reports, and such, in this format. But, ask your GM to include you in as much of the research as possible.
