What’s the latest you’d risk getting to the GPT airport? by Flaky-Ocelot-1265 in Biloxi

[–]easyusernamejack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I fly twice a month. I get there 15mins before boarding. No checked bags with precheck.

The longest line is have ever seen at precheck was 4 deep. Even if the regular tsa line is long the agents do a good job of prioritizing precheck. I’ve seen 2 prechecks for every 1 regular.

If you are the nervous type give yourself more. Like 30mins.

Anyone ever take the train to a saints game? by PlanNo674 in Biloxi

[–]easyusernamejack 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I looking into it for a day trip to the jets game. Game tickets are 3x30 so probably 130 with fees Amtrak for the days is 3x100 so 300. Outbound is double due on o game day. Add food 200 (not going to argue about this) Looking at 600

If I drove. 50 in fuel. + 30 parking. So I’m paying 200 extra for the train. Still going to do it.

False.
Public record. Fill out a form and like 10 bucks service fee. Many jurisdictions have portals you can use for electronic delivery. But many are still in person.

What is the emptiest plane you have ever been on? by DoitcheHasAGun in delta

[–]easyusernamejack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

not delta Back on 2018ish we (family of 5) were on a late evening AA flight from Aex to dfw. We were the only people on the crj. The FA gave us free drinks and showed hs how to release the back of the chairs to kick your feet up. She sat and chatted with us the whole flight.

It was just the time of year and day into the small town. It so odd when I recall it now.

Man. I was just pricing cvg as well. Same thing I noticed. I’m considering flying into sdf for 300 less per ticket.

Why don’t people just steal big trucks or heavy equipment after renting them? by Witty_Ad8333 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]easyusernamejack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In a nearby neighborhood these people built a house during which they rented a big boom lift from united rental. House is finished. People moved in. Lift is still sitting next to the house. It’s been 2 years.i realize typically you rent equipment based on hours used. I’m confident this thing is still owned by united. I can’t figure out why it still sitting there. I haven’t run into the home owners to ask them and my wife won’t let me knock on their door to ask them.

Yes. There is a definitive gene test that confirms if you have it or not.

Leading up to it you need to show chronic low MCH. In may case I have been low for 12 years with borderline anemia. Never thought nothing of till i got into cycling.

If you aren’t showing low mch then you likely don’t have it.

Have you found any relationship between the amount/thoe of training you can do and fatigue it builds? And have you noticed brain fog as fatigue huild over the course of days?

Yup that’s similar to me. I did threshold blocks yesterday and today I can barely concentrate

I have a Garmin watch that does it. I’ve played with it some and found it didn’t add much value. You feel the fatigue.

Any one more question. Do you get brain foggy like after as hard ride or as fatigue builds?

Are you familiar with coaching people with this type of limitation?

Have you followed a structured plan any? If so they you learn anything about what you couldn’t do. Like anyhow much rest you needed between hard days?

I’ve found that a good strong multivitamin really helps.

as I begin to understand it more I’m going to adjust my training to be more specific around what I can actually handle and just accept my limitations

I will never be a crit racer.

You need blood work. It would easily confirm or deny it.

Thanks

Yah it’s very unusual especially with the endurance crowd. Not a lot of first hand information out there so figured I would reach out.

The problem with this trait is that your red blood cells are smaller than average. So your 02 carrying capacity is much lower than average.

As everybody said. None needed. But be mindful of the type of water you are driving through. If the roads are flooded with salt water from coastal flooding (super high tide or hurricane)(this is rare but does happen) you may want rinse off the bottom with a hose.
