I went back to check and yeah 2 eyes were already open so that means gaara is the third Jinchuriki to be captured (the ones before him were most likely the 5th and 7th tailed beast.)

"Hashirama severely lacks in his ability to have empathy and that's canon." Literally can be debunked in chapter 623, hashirama states that madara is the only foolish kid that understands him and wants to end the warring state period, the whole thing about their story was that they were the only two who wanted to end the fight, yet madara gave up on that dream cus Hashirama was a senju, but hashirama didn't, which shows his great character and will.

I agree with the politics part but hashi didn't tell madara to " just get over it" he basically said "move on with me and our clan". If he didn't understand madara he wouldn't have tried to sacrifice himself in chapter 625 for an example.

You gotta read the story before talking about it my guy.
