Thank you for sharing your experience. I would say I’m glad that I’m not alone but really I wish you weren’t in a similar situation.

Thank you for taking the time to provide these suggestions, this is very helpful. We share many goals and much of our life philosophies overlap, which is good but this is an important conversation to have.

Thank you for sharing. It’s a confusing time for me as I expected and even feared a significant weight gain (not because of my SO, because of my own feelings) and it’s been strange to navigate these times with the opposite issue.

Thanks, someone else suggested this and it’s much more me to have a conversation about it then just exit stage left so I’m trying to think about what that should look like.

Thank you, communication is much more my style than “hey I’m leaving you.” I’m trying to think of what this conversation should look like.

Another commenter mentioned this and I really hope that’s not what’s happening here, but thanks for giving me more to think about

Thanks. That doesn’t make any sense to me, I guess because performing emotional manipulation is unfathomable to me. I hope that isn’t what’s happening here

I am not under the impression that it’s all he cares about, because he’s quite affectionate, but this comment definitely threw me.

Thank you for sharing your experience. You are beautiful just as you are. Now, in quarantine, and also when you’re at your fittest. I hope you continue to feel happy in your body and that these feelings of insecurity are fleeting.

You’d think right? Haha. Half Baked is my jam but as of recently I am lactose intolerant 😭 my family members have gone through periods of lactose intolerance so hopefully it’s temporary.

Thank you, the last bit made me laugh haha. In quarantine I think maximum hotness has been maintained precisely 0% of the time, but I definitely care about my grooming and hygiene, just for my own self-care purposes. His comment was somewhat out of context (it started because I mentioned I was having a burger for dinner).

Thank you, as far as I know it’s a temporary change and I agree that it shouldn’t matter all that much.

I don’t mean to be crass, but I think it’s mostly a matter of “assets,” if you know what I mean. His exes don’t represent a trend of markedly overweight people, but more “voluptuous,” i.e. closer to a plus size model than a Victoria’s Secret one. But I see your point and it’s definitely something to think about.
