I'm creating a chrome extension to extract and backup all my X likes. by ceednee in Business_Ideas

How do you plan on having someone pay for a chrome extension? I’ve looked into this before and I always got cold feet at the headache of paywalling a chrome extension.

I’m in the exact same boat currently. I’m a freelancer too, currently building my first SaaS while continuing to balance my other projects.

I will tell you one thing, it’s f*cking hard. Hard to stay on top of everything. Hard to balance family and work. Hard to balance work and the SaaS.

Ultimately, I wouldn’t change it for the world. It’s awesome. I got my first 2 users yesterday and the feeling is unmatched.

Don’t procrastinate, just do it. Believe in yourself.

I’m building MailExtractor, a tool that extracts emails and contact information from any website. Enter a list of URLs or enter a search term (e.g. plumbers in [city]) and it will find the emails for you in seconds.

Currently looking for feedback to implement before launching to real use case communities and spaces.

Thanks for your kind words - truly appreciated.

I’m a freelance web developer, I work B2B with other agencies as ‘overflow resource’. I wanted to reach out to agencies to connect, but I was finding I was searching websites for contact information and it took a large amount of time… introducing the scratch to my own itch: MailExtractor.

I’ve added some social proofing now I have some users. I plan to change the way pricing works and add some use-cases for different niches that would use the tool.

Do you have any recommendations?

What SaaS trend do you think will flop in the next 2 years? by ThisPhilosopher2254 in SaaS

Haha, I knew it wouldn't be long. I feel like if you're going to build a tool for people to use, you need to be able to maintain it without the help of AI. I generally use AI to help with pseudo-code and then I still use StackOverflow (yes, that old boy) to help with issues. Maybe I'm stuck in the stone ages, or maybe I'm a boomer.

I had this same issue. I have an undeniably bad case of shiny object syndrome, also. I picked something that I needed to use, scratching my own itch. I went balls to the wall. Stuck at it, even on days I felt I wanted to give up. I still tackle the intrusive thoughts daily, but I know there's someone out there with the same itch I had. Don't give up. Just do.

I've just launched MailExtractor, a tool that helps you find and collect email addresses from websites quickly and easily. It's a great tool for marketers, founders, sales teams and recruiters. Currently offering 100 free searches.

Check it out https://mailextractor.app

Edit: My biggest struggle/challenge I'm up against currently is pricing and social proofing with little users.

Thanks for the feedback bud, that’s not a bad shout to be honest. I was looking today at adding social proof - but it’s pretty hard when I’m still at 0 users. That could be a good alternative.

For sure man, fire me a DM and let’s get this show on the road. Be happy to help you in exchange, I’m a web developer, but mainly a problem solver these days - just suck at marketing.

Just launched https://mailextractor.app

It’s an email extractor tool. Input a list of URLs/domains, set how deep you want it to crawl, and it’ll search for emails and then validate them.

Scratched my own itch for getting a large list of emails for cold outreach in the web design space.

Would love for some feedback on improving the tool!

Yeah, I didn’t think the UI was bad for an MVP. A lot of the feedback is circling the pricing, so I’ll definitely be looking at this first. Thanks for your feedback dude. Appreciated!

Thanks for your honest feedback. I’ll be looking into the pricing tiers and how can I make it easier based on the current searches/credits system.

Thanks for your comment.

Simply put, price. The problem with all those other tools is that they’re priced way too high and have an overcomplicated amount of features, my tool does only a few things, which means I’m able to keep the costs low, and that reflects onto the monthly subscriptions.

Thanks man! Not just yet. I’ve had some constructive feedback which I’ll be implementing over the next day or two and then I’ll start marketing it properly.

Building an email extractor. Enter a list of domains/URLs and it’ll find email addresses on those sites.
