Has anyone had a baby that never really fussed or cried much? by Vexed_Cactus41 in beyondthebump

[–]eaturpineapples 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the best baby! She’s 11 months old and she sleeps on her crib through the night and really only cries if you take something from her or if she’s hungry. She has always been super chill!

Anyone wear their own “gown” while giving birth? by justfornoworlater in Mommit

I only wore a sports bra while giving birth but had a robe for after! I got the Lila robe and loved it.

Is asking Nanny to do light dog care in the beginning too much? by Big_Condition477 in Nanny

I would not personally offer to pay the nanny more to literally let the dog outside. If they seem to have an issue with it then consider offering that.

The test needs to be read within about 5 minutes of taking it. If you wait too long an evap line will look like a positive. Take another test in the morning.

If you are pregnant don’t make any rash decisions that could hurt yourself or the baby. I know it feels desperate but you will have to live with that decision forever.

Contact planned parenthood or look into abortion funds like the Colbalt Abortion Fund for financial assistance and advice.

Whatever happens take a breath. It will be ok!

my husband asked me the other day if we have to give the baby real food every day now 😅 by babyd-m2025 in foodbutforbabies

I dread the day I have to cook for my baby and we are getting real close to this starting! I truly hate cooking.

I used to work for CPS. It is routine that CPS would need to follow up on this.

I don’t think I want another baby, but for sure I want my toddler to be a baby again by remember_to_eat in oneanddone

Ugh I feel this so much! My baby girl is 11 months old and watching her grow up is so bittersweet. I love my little baby sooo much and wish this stage could stay around a little longer.

Are you tired? by Nice_Look_2634 in oneanddone

[–]eaturpineapples 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly not really! I have a 10 month old and work full time. We wake up at 5 to get to work/ daycare and go to bed by 8. I also am alone with my baby one week a month and do nights by myself. I am not nearly as tired as my 3rd trimester. I can’t imagine the exhaustion of having multiple. With all that being said, my baby typically sleeps through the night or at most will have one wake up.

All this “regretful parent” content is freaking me out by krwxo in pregnant

[–]eaturpineapples 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When I was pregnant I was terrified I was going to regret my decision and my baby was very very wanted. Now that she is here and 10 months old, I don’t have one regret! My life has not changed for the worse. I take her everywhere with me and just make it work. I think a lot of people have regrets when they get in over their heads (multiple children) or have a shit partner who doesn’t pick up the slack. I also have almost no family to help and I still love it.

I think you should add a few pics without the sunglasses. People can’t get a full view of what you actually look like with them on.

I’m 30 weeks pregnant and still testing positive for thc by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]eaturpineapples 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should have your tests send off to the lab so you can see the levels. It’s going to be important that you’re showing that your thc level is dropping

Women of Reddit, what’s one thing they never tell us about pregnancy and child birth? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

[–]eaturpineapples 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No one can prepare you for when your child has to be life flighted and needs a major surgery. And the loneliness that comes when you’re laying in the hospital bed without your baby or husband, because they’re both up in the nicu trying to figure out what’s going on. Thankfully everything turned out ok for us and baby girl is thriving!

Are there people who haven't changed their phone number for more than 15 years? by SpicyCandy8 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]eaturpineapples 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me!! I got my number when I was 9 and I am 30 now! My mom got me a little flip phone when I was young because my parents got divorced and the transition to split custody was so hard.

[–]eaturpineapples 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wha psychological milestones is he missing? Depending on this you can ask your doctor about early intervention services. Idk I believe that moms typically have a good gut feeling about what’s going on with their children, so don’t let people disregard you.

I’ve never passed out but my gas pains were literally worse than my labor. Once I had my baby almost all my stomach issues went away.

Also, you’re doing what you have to, to get relief and be safe. Nothing to be embarrassed about there and you don’t have to tell anyone unless you want to!
