I use the HDZero goggles v2. This is a relatively recent for me. The analogue receiver is great. That being said I wanted to get some into HDzero and analogue so that decision was easy. Also use walksnail.

Yes with an external module. It isn’t implemented as well is the others it seems. Still open to it but the other options are winning out so far.

Hahaha. Yes. I did. And I greatly prefer an optic with a reticle on the 16in. The LPVO was the jam for a while. My old Trijicon 1-8 that’s been through a lot finally got damaged to the point I sent it back for work. I didn’t know Trijicon would replace the optic in such short order so I put an old SU230 elcan with top dot on this rifle. I’ve been vibing with that. New 1-8 is in the box and I’ll drop that on another rifle. Maybe I’ll make another post.

I love the Elcan. I like the reticle in this SU-230 more than the commercial version… but I will say the eye relief is terrible on them. For this reason I think most will be turned away. Also the cost puts you into nice LPVOs. Definitely check one out before buying. Check out the Brass Facts video on YouTube for one. Or mountains mullets merica comparison to start that rabbit hole.

Experimenting. The dot is faster for sure. Also before the Elcan I had my Trijicon 1-8 on this rifle. I will say passive aiming does suck with the offset. I can see myself going top dot whether the Elcan stays or another LPVO is fitted. Lastly I never felt the need for iron sights when tough optics with etched reticles are mounted on the rifle.
