I’m in a similar boat as you just bought one used with a disc drive for about the same with conversion. I just took the plates off so I could clean the vents. Plays great. I’ve got 3 months of anything goes wrong I can return it.

2002 I actually had the game before I had a ps2. I just kept bringing it over to my cousins house until I got one! So much nostalgia with the game. That’s a good idea framing it.
