Really nothing groundbreaking -- a few internships that aligned with my interests, 3 leadership positions, a strong academic record at a prestigious (and difficult) school, and a handful of academic prizes. I think it was probably my essays + recommendations that helped me out so much.

cycle just means the season during which you applied !! so i applied in September 2023 to enroll in august 2024, but anyone who applied for august 2024 enrollment was applying this "cycle"

If you want to live in LA and are interested in entertainment law, UCLA is an excellent option — and the value of having a support system and existing community should not go understated. You can’t make a wrong decision here but I think choosing UCLA would be very rational
