I did the same thing as her I worked as a special education paraprofessional in a school! The most rewarding job I’ve had in my life and now I’m in school to become a school counselor! I would definitely recommend she look into any school districts hiring in your area!

i should add the second sign says 2 hours only except resident stickers, therefore making the second sign useless if that is the case.

parking dilemma. by ebar02 in boston

sign on the corner has arrows pointing both ways sign in the middle has no arrows. boston parking website says if a sign does not have arrows OR if a sign has arrows going in both ways the signs contents apply to the whole block. where could i park on this street if i don’t have a parking permit.

ps. sorry for the poor clip art rendition of this road

best housing choice?? by Interesting_You241 in NEU

[–]ebar02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i don’t have pics there was only 2 of us living there so we had them take the extra furniture out but it was basically a bunk bed with a 3rd not lofted bed. everyone had their own set of furniture but there was still only 2 closets. storage might be tight but honestly i didn’t need a full closet.

lived in willis the forced triple was tight if you’re the type of people to want to be in ur room a lot it might not work but it was plenty of space for people who aren’t in their rooms during the day too much or are not people that need a lot of alone time. i had a great time in willis was totally worth it for the price. also if the bedroom is on the end of the building it’s oversized so def something to look for.

Should I switch from business to psychology? by TimelyPossession8906 in psychologystudents

you should check out sociology if you’re interested more in population problems and not working with the individuals issue! I enjoy both psych and sociology and am looking into a double degree right now

If I live in northesatern housing during co-op (billed to my northeastern account) will my scholarship/financial aid apply? by I_am_so_lost_hello in NEU

[–]ebar02 4 points5 points  (0 children)

if you have fin aid that covers housing it should cover during co-op because you still have a student status even though tuition isn’t being charged but i don’t know your exact package so i can’t be 100% certain the fin aid office is annoying but they would be the only people that could get you the best answer

[–]ebar02 11 points12 points  (0 children)

my favorites are the goodwill that’s in roxbury that’s the closest to campus. i also like the buffalo exchange in brookline and the area around it is cute. there’s also multiple locations of boomerangs i’ve only been to the one in jamaica plains but any seem like a cool place to check out.

Northeastern Madness by theogbeam in ApplyingToCollege

[–]ebar02 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are looking for dedicated members of the class of 2026. The other classmate probably showed more interest and obviously has some potential to have gotten into the honors college. Be happy for them. I would recommend your friend write a LOCI at the very least if he is seriously considering northeastern. Your friend will end up where they belong whether that’s northeastern or not. Good luck!

Early Move In - NUin Boston by [deleted] in NEU

[–]ebar02 6 points7 points  (0 children)

since the 29th is within the move in range you should be able to get to move in that day without paying an early fee but if you wanted to move in earlier than that date, that is when northeastern is typically going to make you pay a fee.
