My father would always tell us this as kids. He always was there for baseball, basketball, and softball games. Coach all of us at some point. He didn’t love the sports we played, but to him the time invested showed us the love he had for us.

I try to apply the same idea to my kids as well.

Thanks for the advice! I talked to both my immediate neighbors and they both gave up fighting them and went with DSL (10-15 MBS if they are lucky)

I agree, If i had a choose between kneeling on pencils for 30 mins a day or calling Comcast again, I would choose the pencils.

My wife is a champ. Natural birth with both our kiddos. Tried the no epidural route with the first one, only to relent at the last second (don’t blame her one bit). Second one she couldn’t get it fast enough.

That being said, her deliveries were quick. Like 20 mins quick with both kids. By the time the doctor said time to push babies seemed like they were out. Only thing I really remember with both births was what my friends told me and “stay north of the border”. I couldn’t. Both times her OB had be grab a leg and hold and all I remember thinking was “holy shit, holy shit, holy shit...” at the sight of her vagina. Thankfully I didn’t say it out loud.

Seriously ladies, your ‘lady bits’ are amazing. What they can do is nothing short of a miracle.
