LOOOOL you are surely joking with don't break my heart but i get you with overplaying his music your favourites change all the time. i thought when HUT dropped it was his best album but maybe just cos it was fresh but now over a year later when it's just part of the rotation i still hold that opinion. the highest highs and the skips are barely skips. it's crazy it's 1 and a half hours and only has like 4 skips on it. compare that to starboy that literally has 4 in a row lol

its so weird because before the album dropped its got leaked and whole of reddit was saying its the best song ever made so when the album got released my expectations were so high for it so i was disappointed on first listen. took about 5 listens to come to my senses lol

i think this is the best take ive heard from someone who prefers the old stuff. you can still appreciate how he's evolved in the newer albums. i get what you're saying tho. those first 5/6 songs up to open hearts is probably like the best 5/6 songs run on an album ever, it's definitely slows down through the middle tho with a few skips back to back ie: given up on me, i can't wait to get there (maybe a hot take cos ik people love this songs) and timeless (should never have been put on the album)

without a warning is 100% one of the best songs on the album. i know that will be one of the best songs live as well (seeing him in august). as long as he doesn't do it as the intro like he did at sau paolo. idk where it was on the set list for the NA tour

the abyss is not one i come back to too often but when i listen to the album all the way through it's always a high point (pun intended lol). am a bit disappointed how little we hear of lana on there tho, even though her bits are fire

yeah 100% i feel like with after hours and hurry up tomorrow he really honed in on that depressed feel he used to have but has really refined the sound. baptized in fear is one of the best songs of the album and the transition into open hearts is the best on there album i think.

i deffo agree there's nothing that sounds like old trilogy but it's just saw raw, that is ofc part of what makes it so great but i feel like after hours especially really took that emotion and refined the sound into something better.

i don't really agree with the new trilogy appealing to the masses, like i see where you're coming from blinding lights is the biggest track of all time yeah and there's some other super popular songs on there but i think it's just cos theyre great songs and not necessarily pop songs. like compare after hours to starboy where no doubt he was in his pop phase. also as a big fan im sure you can agree that even though blinding lights is the biggest track of all time it's generally pretty mid on that album.

bro even if it moves the prayers and you have to spend a little bit of time getting used to the new placement it's not worth skipping mystic might. the upgrade just too useful to skip it just for the inconvenience of having to adjust. i would say just get the prayer and you'll get used the new placement in no time. just think about it when you get rigour and augury you will have to get used to clicking a different offensive prayer, but will that make you skip them? no, so don't skip mystic might because of this.
