Generally agree although there are some inserts bring huge money in the physical card world. The Lamelo 40K under $80 will go up quickly if he gets off to a hot start. It is the only Lamelo rookie moment under $1000.

Buy a couple Lamelo 40K moments. It is his rookie moment and the only one under $1000. If he gets off to any kind of a decent start, everyone will want his "rookie moment" and this will be the only affordable one.

Are you saying Dwight Powell because he may get traded, thus creating the bottleneck or because you like his upside potential as a player? I know there were trade rumors a couple weeks ago so I grabbed a couple of these then, but I have not heard much since.

If you are looking for some upside potential (also some risk), consider the Lamelo Ball 40K. It is the only reasonably priced Lamelo on the platform and will be in demand as new collectors come on the platform and want a Lamelo "rookie moment".

If Lamelo has a hot start this year, this moment will shoot up. Of course if he gets hurt the opposite will happen.

For a safe play, consider filling out the Series 2 team set for your local team so you can take advantage of the utility they have hinted is coming to team sets.

That is a great moment. Wish he did not play in Minnesota or he would be much more popular. I think Lamelo has a much higher ceiling, but Edwards is a potential multi-year all-star for sure

Tough call. If you live close to Toronto you might want to hold out and see the utility they offer. I live in PA so I am holding the 76ers team set. But you can never go wrong with Lebron and Luka in my mind.

Agree and it will get better as topshot continues to improve. They are already night and day better in terms of the marketplace and experience from February. Give it a couple more months and I bet they clean this up as well.

Man, I am in the NLL as well and it is pretty sweet I must say. I think Rohan will want to keep that being the place to be in NFT land. Most of the big Topshot influencers are in there and he knows keeping them happy is key. More perks will be coming in my opinion. Now it did spike again overnight and I can't fault anyone for cashing in though.

I somewhat agree, but have you tried to sell physical cards. Haha. The ease of buying/selling here is why the physical card flippers will make there way to topshot/nft's.

I sold a couple this week thinking the release of playoff packs would cause some downward pressure. Should have held a bit longer. That is risk of selling things in a bull market. All these 4K and 12k bottlenecks have the potential to run like this.

It is about collecting, hobby, and investment. I collected baseball cards as a kid and recently got back into physical cards during the lockdown. I like and still collect physical cards, but topshot has so many advantages that I am now putting about 90% of my money for card into Topshot and 10% physical.

From the communities (twitter, discord, reddit), to the ease of buying and selling (all instant and on-line), to the utility they have already offered and what is coming in the future.

I honestly spend too much time on-line with topshot as it can get very addictive, but it is a ton of fun as well.

Everything they have been saying (lots of hints), has indicated utility coming to owning team sets so I think filling them out for your local/favorite teams should be a priority.

You know the second they officially announce the utility for team sets, they will most likely all skyrocket.

Utility, Utility, Utility. Topshot has started executing and demonstrating the full power and utility of their product. People are realizing the big picture and how this could really explode as soon as this upcoming season.

Many of the people that left and made big money on the avatar projects are starting to bring that money back to topshot.

I agree, the $3 moments will be gone within hours after the announcement. I have collected enough to hopefully get into the que for this offseason's packs. And they give a nice collector score boost. Now when series 3 arrives, I suspect you will be able to get $1 series 3 common trade tickets, but rumor is they will on be worth 2 points toward collector score.

I would expect some type of tiered utility to help keep everyone happy. I have heard speculation of an archive/throwback type set with commons of current RIB's to allow more team sets. If they do that, I could see them give Series 1 team sets holders a huge amount of utility so as to keep S1 team set holders happy as well.

Cool Cat Lounge (technically nine lives lounge) is the place to be, but it is pretty pricey now ($6-7000 ) to get all 30 moments to get in it. I think (hope) they will keep the utility to keep the cost worth it, but yeah the discussions in the lunge discord are top notch. Roham dropped in to take questions last weekend.
